The High Rollers Club Review Transcript:

[00:00:00] Hey guys, Jenn Bruno Smith here! I’m here with Melody Spradley and she’s one of my students at the Mastermind course and she so graciously has given us a few minutes that I can interview her because she is just killing it and I’m so proud of her. So, Melody, first of all, super exciting news. You just had a $9,000 sale, right?

[00:00:30] It was $9,198 total.

[00:00:33] That is amazing. So I want to talk about that and how you got there. But first, I want to talk about first of all, when did you join the mastermind?

[00:00:44] I’m going to say April, maybe. Around April.

[00:00:48] So tell me about what your business was like before you joined what your average sale was. How many were shooting, what you were struggling with?

[00:00:57] So before I joined Mastermind, I would say my average was probably around 18 to 2,000. $1,800 to $2,000.

[00:01:08] I wasn’t getting consistent bookings, almost all the bookings that I had with model calls. I had a lot of like no shows, last-minute cancellations, people that showed up and they didn’t want to purchase. They thought they were models. So that was probably my biggest struggle beforehand with getting people to pay the prices that I wanted, profiting off my business and trying to book clients consistently.

[00:01:39] Right. So before you joined the mastermind, you were doing a lot of model calls to get your clients in the door. Yes. And so since you joined the mastermind, how is your booking process change? Are you having an easier time getting clients?

[00:01:58] I’m having an insanely hard time getting clients. I don’t know why, but I’m using a mixture of methods. I’m doing one of my most successful ads so far has been like a lead form ad. And then I go prospected based on the things that Humberto mentioned. And I’ve been changing a lot of my processes with my business for referrals and stuff like that. And I’m getting a lot more inquiries by people who are inviting their friends to my group or sending their friends my way that I’ve done a shoot with me since booking it.

[00:02:36] So a lot of like organic growth as well. Just from like doing the things that we’re telling you to do and then it’s just kind of snowballing.

[00:02:43] Yeah. Like yesterday I had a girl like seven or eight or four friends in my group just randomly. I didn’t have a row. It was just random and. I’m glad you loved it.

[00:02:54] That’s wonderful so far. So I know you do same-day sales and I do different day sales, which is a little bit of a difference. So if for you were still doing I.P.S, but your system was different than mine, right? And so what do you think the big change was in your I.P.S process from then to now?

[00:03:18] First of all, I do what you do now with the color and black and white. So previously I was doing the same thing in editing, but beforehand I would show them in sets of like three or four and they would pick one favorite out of those. Now I show them each image one by one color and black and white, which I took from you. If my if I go out, just let me know. Yes. Sorry. Now I do color in black and white for every single image. I drastically change my prices. My highest pricing before you and my top collection only had 20 images and it was like thirty-eight thirty-nine hundred. Yeah. My election is eighty-five hundred before tax and it includes all the images and fifty-five in an album. I love that.

[00:04:16] I need to raise my top collection. Your top budget is higher than my top collection now.

[00:04:23] I do it based on your pricing. I include the wall or configuration, a little finder. I even do that. It’s hard to like a nice restaurant in our area. And it’s one of the things that sold my client on Friday with her and her husband. So. So, yes. So my pricing has drastically changed. I changed the way that I showed images and I invested in. I watched your in-person sales and your session that you did like for us. And I invested in a couple of posing guides to help my flow get better at it. It helped a lot because I had a much wider variety of images that looked different, whereas before I had to limit it down to 20 because I was just shooting the same pose.

[00:05:12] Yeah. So this $9000 sale is going to like crazy bump up your sales average. But how do you figure out what your sales average is now?

[00:05:22] I know that before this it was somewhere between twenty-five and three thousand. So I would think that I’m probably closer to like probably over three now.

[00:05:36] That’s awesome. So it’s almost double your average sales since starting our mastermind course. Yes, I did since I started the mastermind course legitimately. I have since I started booking clients the way the mastermind does.

[00:05:50] I have legitimately not sold any of my collections under 3000. The only thing that is driving my average down is my sessions from before the mastermind.

[00:06:00] When you were doing model calls? Yes. Yeah. I mean, that’s like the core problem with model calls is you’re getting clients that don’t value your services. And just because of the term model call, they think they’re getting something for free. And so it’s hard to turn someone psychologically from thinking they’re gonna get something to free for free. So like valuing your services and paying for them. So that’s huge, though. I’m so excited for you. So what’s the one thing? So I know before you join the mastermind. Were you a little nervous about the investment to join the course or were you pretty sure that you wanted to do it?

[00:06:39] No, I was pretty sure I was a little nervous because I had invested in a program before Mastermind and it wasn’t worth the investment.

[00:06:50] But first of all, because I was one of y’all’s first people, I like y’all when you all reached out to me, you and Humberto. I felt a lot more comfortable with the amount of information that y’all were offering.

[00:07:06] And it seemed like an insane jump from where I had been previously. And then y’all gave me and a few other people I know like what y’all offer for the price is just insane. Honestly, it’s insane in my bro. I still haven’t even finished doing everything and I’ve been in since April.

[00:07:27] I love that. So you feel you feel comfortable about that information we’re giving you that. It is robust and valuable.

[00:07:37] Yes, I love it. Humberto has all of the texta because I’ve learned some things about advertisements and prospecting and things that I didn’t even think of. And he very nicely forced me into phone calls with great cause. I mean, I have I literally like since. I say too much. But since I’ve started commenting, I have I’m like a 90 percent groping rate. If I can just if I can get them on the phone. Very confident that I can get them in my door.

[00:08:15] That’s awesome. That’s awesome. So if you had any pieces of advice for people that are thinking about joining our mastermind course but are kind of on the fence, what would your advice be to them?

[00:08:29] Honestly, I know why it is scary.

[00:08:34] I know that I know why it could be like something nervous because there are a lot of programs out there.

[00:08:42] And if you and the other kind of education and you felt like you didn’t get your money’s worth. I understand why that jumped the nerve-wracking. But anyone in this. This course will testify to the knowledge that Jim and Roberto both provide in terms of your website and your advertising and marketing, Humberto and your entire sales, in-person process and customer base with Jim. And I guarantee you that I don’t think that there’s another program operative that gets the amount of information for such a good value and really like it is as essential to your business as the information that they give. Thank you.

[00:09:25] This is Lee Ermey, ugly tears over here.

[00:09:28] Melody, I’m just so glad I was looking a lot of programs before you all reached out to me. And I’m very glad that this is the one that I went with.

[00:09:41] Thank you. I’m so proud of you. You were just killing it. Thank you so much for taking the leap. And you know, I before I was so successful like I am now, I had hired mentors before that I was unhappy with. And so that, you know, was the foundation for us. Creating this mastermind course because we wanted it to be different for smaller ones. It’s robust and we also wanted to put something in the industry because there aren’t a lot of educators out there that are shooting full time and bringing in the revenue that I’m bringing in. So to be able to share that.

[00:10:22] Is that. As we know, there’s not.

[00:10:26] You’re right. Yeah, I’m able to share my processes and as I’m doing this, too, I’m learning that like it’s so cool to see that they’re reproducible, like the systems I’m using are reproducible that people, no matter what your market is, you can do the systems and use them and so find success.

[00:10:44] So I just wanted to thank you for taking the leap with us. And thank you for taking the time today to talk to us. And congratulations. And I’m so proud of you.

[00:10:55] Thank you. Thank you very much.
