[00:00:00] My average is like right around three thousand one hundred twenty. Got a nice triple in your sales average in two months and just obviously I’ve had way more bookings in every month.
[00:00:18] Hey, guys! I’m here with Tyler Austin from Amor by T in Seattle.
[00:00:24] Thank you so much for joining us. He is one of our students and our mastering course and just killing it. So I’m so excited to talk with you today. So tell me about where you were before you joined the chorus. Let region defy reshooting full time. Where are you working?
[00:00:44] So for last. I’ve been full time for the last almost seven years now. I shoot only about seven to 10 weddings here and I do really well. High school seniors like Price shoot 60 to 70 high school seniors here, and that’s mostly just in that summertime. And then other than that, you know, those families are sprinkled throughout the year. And the same with boudoir is kind of scattered throughout the year, but it was never as much as senior. So the last, you know, years I’ve just been generally. Well. High school seniors. But that only has got me to a certain level that I haven’t really been able to break out of. Yes.
[00:01:27] So at what point what made you jump in, take the leap of faith into joining us with the mastermind?
[00:01:35] So it was a little bit slower summer. And I’m always kind of looking at my numbers. And I was a little bit behind from last year. And so I knew I either had to really push it with like families since the seniors are done by now. So I really pushed hard and valleys or do something else. And I was even thinking about just picking up some part-time work or like a full-time job just to the winter. And I actually got a job offer for like thirty-seven thousand dollars for the year and something. And we just clicked and I was like, what are we doing wasting my time with that when I could just literally be focusing on photography. Now is right about the time when the course kind of came up and everything just made sense. And I had a really good kind of gut feeling about it. And the videos I saw, it kind of made sense. And so I just thought, you know what, I’m going to make more than that. Offer it. And I can make more than that in the next three months. Yeah. So that’s just somebody I just knew that it was something and everything I’ve seen in the course and even heard about some other friends that have been in it. I just knew that this could probably be the thing that would get me to the next level. I’ve been after for some years.
[00:02:56] Yeah, that’s awesome. I love it. You were so experienced before and your work is killer. Nakheel amazing work. Not just with Kidwai, but like your senior work, your family.
[00:03:05] It’s really good. So what was your sales average before you started the course?
[00:03:11] So with boudoir, my sales average is right about twelve hundred dollars.
[00:03:17] And then since you’ve been in the course, what’s your sales average now?
[00:03:21] So since and I’ve only been in the course year, but like it is the 18th.
[00:03:27] So really I like to to. Yeah. Two and a half months which is amazing.
[00:03:31] And it’s already that my average I’ve had some good and some bad marriages like right around three thousand so hundred.
[00:03:40] It’s amazing.
[00:03:41] A nice triple in your sales average in two months and just obviously I’ve had way more bookings in every month since the first month. I know I put a lot of time into like putting the right systems in place and making the changes that I knew I needed to do. And then last month and only halfway through this month, all everything started clicking. And I started getting way more people in the seats than I ever had in the past. So it’s been great.
[00:04:12] I love that sound since you started the course. How many clients happy.
[00:04:18] But since you started the choirs, I’ve probably shot it really late last month. And this month I probably only shot like ten or eleven of those sales averages have been so good that it’s been great.
[00:04:34] And then before you were in the chorus, how many were he shooting a man? Well. But I mean, wintertime. Everyone always says wintertime is great. Wintertime is like my down my slower time. You know, I might have had one or two if that.
[00:04:47] And so that’s why I always push hard on families. And I I never liked running, you know, like sales and flash sales ’cause I just don’t I guess I would just kind of wait. I’m luckily, you know, my organic Google traffic was okay enough where I was still kind of getting stuff. But was it right?
[00:05:08] So year to date, I guess, because we’re almost at the end of this year. What do you think your ans-? You will be compared to last year.
[00:05:20] So I looked it up and I was just like so excited. So the end of September when I like, knew that I was behind. I was at just over sixty-nine thousand. Yeah. And since a so I say October 1st till now. So you’re like two and a half months. Yeah. I’ve made just over forty-eight thousand.
[00:05:45] So you’ve already made in two and a half months what you made the entire year before.
[00:05:52] And so I’m right now I’m grossed out 113 thirteen for the year which is your best, which is my best year I’ve ever had. And I still have people that need to book sessions. So I mean, the session is out of fast. And the fact that I’m already I think I have like six people booked in January and a whole just list of people that I know I need to continue to follow up with and fill up January. So I feel like I would like. The funny thing is I’ve always had like this a whole bunch of like North Star friends that I knew they looked up to that I knew were just crushing it. And then when I joined the chorus, everyone’s in here.
[00:06:31] And I was a little annoyed because I’m like telling you this big secret that this is what you guys have been doing this whole time.
[00:06:39] So it’s cool kids club. It’s the you know, I’m a successful photographer club that yeah, I can make a living.
[00:06:49] One of our students said the other day they used to raise horses and her daddy Stolley, say that you need to surround yourself with thoroughbreds.
[00:06:58] And that’s really what I like to think of our courses. Surrounding yourself. Because whenever you surround yourself with people that are as successful or more successful than you and lifts you up and you know, instead of there are so many groups out there where people ask the question and everyone else is struggling. And so they’re all like giving bad but giving bad, it bites, right? Absolutely. About the mastermind is when you ask the question, everyone’s successful. So you get actually like, could it be. That makes sense.
[00:07:28] Yes. And there’s so many things about, you know, you’re the sales and I.P.S and just your packages. There’s so many things that come down to like your confidence and believing in yourself and what you’re selling. And so, like, you know, like daily, you know, people kind of posting like great sales they’ve had. And it’s just kind of like it keep, keep, keeps putting in your head. Like it’s possible. Like you can do it. I can do it. And so I remember the first thing I thought when it happened was like I did tell Joe about this. But it really is like two days ago I had like the eight thousand dollar sale, that top package, because I see people posting like sold the top package. And I told my friend there there’s like. I’m going to sell that sometime I said next year, I said sometime next year. So the fact that it already happened, I’m like, oh my God, I like this. This like it’s so possible. And after that, everything else just gets easier because you believe in it. Does it work?
[00:08:24] Once you do it, it’s so much easier to that you can do it again. So I also wanted to ask you, because I hear a lot mouth photographers that want to get into that. But they are nervous about it or they think that the course won’t work for them because they’re a male. What are your thoughts on that? Being a male and probably like a female dominie niche. I guess.
[00:08:50] Yeah. I mean, for starters, the course itself, it doesn’t matter if you’re male or female. Like, I’m excited. Even now they have this knowledge and all the tools and blueprint. I’m excited next year to also like apply it to all my high school seniors and everything else. So from the boudoir side, it really doesn’t matter if you’re male or female. It’s a blueprint. And there’s things that you have to do and there’s systems you have to have in place to get bookings and to make it work. Whether you just have to do if you look at the successful people, they’re doing certain things and you just have to do those. And if you’re there, it’s natural for people to maybe jump into the course and then they can choose certain things or, you know, tweak them to make them more of them. That was one of the things when I invested in this because for me, it definitely was an investment, especially AURITI being behind on the year. Now was like, I’m going to do this. I’m going to literally just follow exactly to a tee because it made it easier because I don’t have to worry about anything. And it made it quicker because I didn’t have to. Yeah, I think they’re put as much thought into it, just like I just do exactly what they say. And then it should work and that’s it. Yeah. So others. Yeah. I don’t I hear a lot of guys that may be struggling, but like you said, it’s I don’t think it’s. Has to do it that as much, I think it just they’re not doing everything that they could be doing.
[00:10:24] Yeah, that’s so true. Thank you so much for your time today. I’m so happy that you’re in the cause. Whenever you said that you were going to join, I was so excited because you have such good work and that’s always the foundation.
[00:10:39] You know, if someone has good work and they’re ready to learn and they’re open to the change, then you see the benefits so much faster.
[00:10:47] So I’m so happy. I’m so excited for you. I can’t wait to see you continue to grow. In 2020. You’re easily going to hit like 200, 250 next year. It’s going to be your best year yet.
[00:10:59] Absolutely. Yeah. Thanks again.
